No one was ready to go back to school this year. We had a great Summer, and we did not want it to end. But it did. So we focused on the fun aspects of going back to school.
Cal knew he was going back to a great teacher for his last year of elementary school. He had Mrs. White for 3rd grade, and this year she moved up to 5th grade. He also just got several new basketball jerseys for his birthday, and he looked forward to wearing those.
Kayla looked forward to seeing all the friends she did not see over the Summer. We had a fun shopping day buying her new clothes, too. She picked everything out herself this year.
Both kids looked forward to being apart from each other all day again!
